Ich erwarb meinen Bachelorabschluss in Klassischer Philologie mit Sanskrit (2018–2020, Abschluss ein Jahr vor der Regelstudienzeit) sowie meinen Masterabschluss in Klassischer Philologie und Alter Geschichte mit Sanskrit (2020–2022) an der Universität Pisa. Von 2022 bis 2026 absolvierte ich ein Promotionsstudium (mit einem vollen Promotionsstipendium) in Philologischen und literarischen, historischen und kulturwissenschaftlichen Studien an der Universität Cagliari. Meine Dissertation trägt den Titel „Die Smṛti von Pitāmaha in der mittelalterlichen indischen Rechtslehre: eine kritische Rekonstruktion der Pitāmahasmṛti und eine kritische Edition der Divyaśuddhi, mit einer religions- und geschichtswissenschaftlichen Untersuchung der indischen Ordalien“ (aus dem Englischen übersetzt). Seit 2026 bin ich als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München tätig und Mitglied des Exzellenzclusters „Cross-Cultural Philology“ (3061). Mein Postdoc-Projekt konzentriert sich auf die kritische Edition der Nyāyavikāsinī, einer altnewarischen Übersetzung der Sanskrit-Nāradasmṛti, verfasst von Maṇika im Jahr NS 500 (1380 n. Chr.).
